Welcome to St. Nicholas School!
Our school has a long and distinguished history of service to the Freedom community and beyond. We strive to achieve academic excellence with a heavy emphasis on Catholic morals, service and character development. Through the combined efforts of our outstanding faculty and staff, our school is full of rich and rewarding experiences for children. Come explore the pages and see how we live our mission statement:
Rooted in our Catholic faith we empower, model and share the light of Christ with all we meet.
God Bless,
Rose Mary Perrino, Principal
St. Nicholas Parish opened the school in 1879 to serve both Catholic and public school students. The building was replaced in 1952, but the original school bell still hangs over the school's front door.
We have an early childhood through 8th grade student population of around 140. We offer an accelerated curriculum that challenges and engages students. We promote creative, lively learning activities that help each student shine. Our small class sizes enable close relationships among students, faculty and staff. We focus on living our faith daily in every class. This is exemplified by our caring teachers who emphasize worship, community and service to others.
