The Saint Nicholas Strategic Plan was conceptualized and formulated by the 2015-2016 Pastoral Council under the guidance of Saint Nicholas Pastor, Father Walter Stumpf.
This Strategic Plan is made up of a 5-year strategic plan as well as a 1-year strategic plan. This gives our parish community an opportunity to see how our mission and vision are planned to transpire over each time period.
Each year in March our Pastoral Council evaluates our 5-year plan to determine a) what needs to be updated b) what needs to be added c) what has been completed within the last year. Based on our revised 5-year plan, a 1 year-plan is constructed that gives our councils and committees pathways to proceed for the coming year.
Our councils and committees are then tasked with identifying how their group will aide our Parish community in meeting the identified objectives for the current year. Once goals are approved by the assigned Pastoral or Finance Council, the committees then document their action steps that will be done to accomplish their goals. This gives our committees something to work toward together to accomplish.
Parishioners are encouraged to read the Strategic Plans and to look upon it as an opportunity to engage in our parish so as to make it a more vibrant and active community.
Individuals who might be interested in becoming part of our Saint Nicholas community are welcome and encouraged to read the Strategic Plan to find out more about our parish’s hopes for its future.
