The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is offered at St Nicholas Parish.

​

  The OCIA team meets weekly from September through Easter with those who are seeking to become members of the Catholic Church. Those seeking to join are both unbaptized individuals and baptized individuals from other Christian Churches.

 

OCIA candidates are welcomed into the Church at the Easter Vigil Mass and receive the Sacraments of Initiation.

The preparation program centers around discernment, prayer, and growth in knowledge of Christianity

and the Catholic Churches teachings.
